I find that I am increasingly drawn to the plight of Mother Earth, and therefore, painting eco art is what is giving me the most satisfaction and sense of purpose right now.
When I receive an idea "from the cosmos", I know to pursue it if my physical response is a mixture of fear and excitement. Fear that I might not be able to pull it off, that people might not like it, or it might be a waste of time. After all, even though I get thousands of hits on my website(s) monthly, I have no idea, honestly, how much real impact I am having. Excitement comes because I have a deep desire to create something meaningful, and strong, and that speaks loudly to viewers about it's message. Expressing these messages in the way I do best is powerfully thrilling to me. So, based on everything I have learned to this date, I will follow my heart and continue to paint eco art with an activist's enthusiasm.
