Hello, friends. Can't believe it has been nearly 3 months since I posted in this blog. First time I've ever skipped a month, I think. But after Garry's shoulder healed, and after having to put our 23 year old cat, Paco, down, things are getting back to normal.
My experience at the Bar Harbor Art in the Park show was so gratifying. I sold the first painting in the first half hour of the first day, and went on to sell two more. You can see images of those sales on my "Selected Sold Works" page.
Currently, I have work in the gallery at York Beach, run by the York Art Association. Soon, a new show will open at the Friends of Maine's Island Birds in Rockland, Maine. I'll have my own separate gallery (there are 3) and my photographer friend Leon Vanella will be in another space at the same time. Hope you'll have a chance to visit.
In August, I'll be in the Brunswick Sidewalk Art Festival, which is the third Saturday of the month. That show features live entertainment, crafts on the green, and food as well as fine art. In September, I'll be at the Yarmouth Art Festival at St. Bart's Church. As time nears, I'll post details. Happy summer to all my good friends and family.
