Here you see an example of my new effort to let the viewers see my paintings in actual room settings. Wish I could say these were photos of my own home, but -- no.
Through a rather complicated series of editing, I have managed to transpose my art photos onto pictures of other peoples' rooms.
I, for one, am thrilled with the results. What do you think? Your impressions would be most helpful to me!
We artists (the ones who care to spend half their time marketing, that is) are always searching for different ways to make an impact on the viewing public. Whether it be novel types of websites, blogging, pinning onto Pinterest, or Tweeting your new work to your followers, we constantly plug away, hoping that little by little, our name and our work will reach more and more people. That way, when we are out at an art festival, people will see our sign and say, "I know her!" And that is what we really want the most. Recognition.
