It's December 13th, and I'm sitting here at my computer in front of our Christmas Tree, with my dog Kelsey curled up next to me, my husband Garry downstairs wrapping gifts, and a warm feeling of happiness inside of me. I'm so thankful for the ability to reach out and have some small effect on the many readers who visit this page every week.
The holiday season is always so busy; but if we take a breath and even half an hour at the easel, it's surprising how much better we can feel. Personally, I'm three-quarters finished with a painting of Monhegan and Manana Islands, and I have loved every minute of it. There's something about the combination of landscape, seascape, and fishing village that just turns me on!
