Having fun with this "lobstah" boat that's heading into the fog. Guess I know what I'll be doing all week!
Painting atmosphere, in this case, dense fog, is challenging, in that one must aim for a believable density of air and moisture with diminishing depth of field and values. I'm happy with the bright orange contrast in the fishermens' aprons.
This was inspired by my frequent trips to my beloved coastline all up and down Eastern Maine.
I'll be posting the finished product in about a week, so keep checking back.
