At least once a year, I find it necessary to haul out ALL of my unsold inventory and give each piece a long hard look. As I unwrap a painting, I ask myself these questions:
To the right is an example of a poorly framed and poorly hung display. No thought was given to the sizes, shapes, or framing of the pieces in order to make a cohesive presentation.
And this is an example of a clean, attractive hanging of beautifully framed pieces, with like framing all on a separate wall. Notice how perfectly every piece is positioned. Which display would you enjoy more?
